We're a diverse group of young men focusing in our academic field of choice. Our chapter is a close-knit group of Brothers who are dedicated to each other, the betterment of our community, and our philanthropic organization, the Special Olympics. In addition to our annual event, Phi Sigma Kappa Spring Classic, hosted at RIT every Spring, we hold several fundraising events and attend a handful of Special Olympics events in our area throughout the year.
None of us really wanted to join a Fraternity, it just sort of happend. When we were given the opportunity to start our own Chapter, we got to make it the way we wanted to, with our friends.
I was moving in Freshman year and these 2 guys, Aaron & Eric were helping me with my stuff. They knew I was looking to meet some people so they gave me their card and I came to some of the rush events. That was where it all started.
I wasn't looking to join a Fraternity, but I saw their Space Jam rush posters and I texted the number on the bottom. They invited me out to go-karting and I liked everyone there.
